ELMBookkeeping Pro (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account info: your Google email, name, and profile picture (received via Google sign-in).
• Business data you enter: business name, address, phone, email, logo, clients, invoices, expenses, and notes.
• Usage data: basic, anonymized API request logs used to keep the service running.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the service: storing, displaying, and processing your bookkeeping data.
• To process invoice payments via Stripe, only if the business owner enables the payment feature for their account. We do not store card numbers.

3. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with:

• Stripe (invoice payment processing) — only if the business owner has enabled the payment feature.
• Cloud hosting providers (databases, servers).

4. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your data at any time by contacting support.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures: TLS in transit, restricted database access, and scoped session tokens with TTL.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting support@elmbookkeepingpro.com.

7. Children

ELMBookkeeping Pro is not intended for users under 16.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify you via the app if material changes occur.
